daisycakes in Cambridge

Sunday, 11 October 2009

I also made these 2 pretty cakes this week for 24 year old twins - I think they look lovely in the bags with ribbon.
These were cakes I did for a 13 year old's birthday. She didn't want any writing on the cakes but just a range of pastel colours and some pretty flowers. The sponges were all chocolate apart from one gluten free cake which I made for her sister and put in a separate bag tied with a ribbon. I was really pleased with the way the way they looked and I put them on the stall so that people could see them whilst I was waiting for the birthday girl's dad to come and pick them up!

About Me

My photo
daisycakes
I am 40 something mum of four children aged from 21 to 9 - 2 boys and 2 girls. After many years doing terrible temping jobs I decided to try and start my own business and over the last few months have done just that! We live in a lovely little house in Cambridge which has a garden that is gradually turning into a forest and which we are trying, halfheartedly I'm afraid, to contain. I'm really enjoying working on the market in Cambridge and am about to start my first winter season - will I survive the cold and wind? We'll have to see..

How to place an order

If you would like to place an order please email me at daisycakesincambridge@yahoo.co.uk and let me know how many cupcakes you'd like, what flavour - the choices are chocolate, raspberry, raspberry and coconut, lemon, vanilla or Oreo cookie.
Cupcakes come in boxes of 12 and cost between £20 and £25 a box depending on the type of decoration.
We can do any decoration you like from simple sprinkles to cut out flowers or cakes personalised with names or messages. The choice is endless so do send me your requests or suggestions!
If you prefer you can come and visit me at my stall on the central Cambridge market on Wednesdays (I'm opposite Great St Mary's Church).
